The advertising and campaigns here are those showcasing my copywriting and concept abilities.
Examples of various programs where my role touched on multiple levels from ideation, developing marketing strategy around seasonal pushes, ideation and managing a small team. In most cases, programs were often created an concert with the client's digital strategy, other brands within the company and partner properties.
The trick with experiential marketing creating the 'story.' While at IMGLive, the goal was to find ways to integrate a physical space with near Blue-tooth technology to move the visitor through a concept, and become the 'hero' in the journey. In addition to that, the entire experience had to be assembled, broken down quickly, be flexible to conform to any footprint and be simple enough to be staffed by locally hired 'ambassadors.'
For this project, IMGLive Atlanta created a ‘miniature Metropolis’ for visitors to interact with spotting ‘digital dangers’ threatening the city. I was brought as a digital artist to design and create a photorealistic version of the city. There were approximately 43 panels in total.
In most cases, CPG clients have their own packaging design agencies but often I'm called in to create packaging concepts for a new line or product or in commemorative/regional packaging.
Logos or brand identity projects span the range from a simple logo to complex style guides of secondary marks, color palettes, typography usage as well as treatment of messaging hierarchy extending through all touchpoint form events to package, digital and corporate literature.
I have recently begun learning Adobe's Premiere Pro editing software. The videos are for a new video blog smilocracy.org. Similar to 'Humans of New York,' smilocracy is about highlighting positive, uplifting events, people and surprises around the St. Louis area.
My involvement also includes shooting video, choosing and editing music/sound, adding graphic effects as needed. In many cases, the videos are shot on the fly, capturing spontaneous events and a concept is often wrapped around it afterward.

This sections highlights my 'visualization' skills. Here are examples of some rather intensive photoshop work that involved creating something out of nothing—that is illustrator files, images and textures or combining commissioned photography to create a new image.
In addition, I have 'old school' illustration abilities. Often these are combined in photoshop with textures and images to create a hybrid 'marker' comp.

Interactive experience is typical for most art directors—designing a UX for organization, concept presentation and then working with the Interactive Team to execute.
Experience ranges from responsive design to mobile AR game play in experiential marketing.
Information and Education
Examples projects that require extensive research—from historical, to statistics, to process and systems. Most of these i had some base knowledge but required rapid understanding of key concepts. I then synthesized the information into a narrative and/or visual flow highlighting key information.
